The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is inviting local residents to a new workshop designed to show how to successfully use social media when job searching. This FREE workshop will be held on Friday, December 13, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Suite 250.
The workshop will provide information on how to effectively conduct a job search by using social media and tips for networking with potential employers. The workshop will include an overview of social media tools offered on the Internet, ways to navigate through each platform when searching for a job, how to connect with employers who use social media, and how to learn about specific job openings before the general public.
Registration is necessary for this free event. Interested participants can register by phone at (661) 799-9675. All confirmed attendees must arrive before 9 a.m. and be available to stay for the complete workshop until 11 a.m.
