Santa Clarita City Briefs is spotlighting performers appearing at the 2012 Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival, presented by Lockheed Federal Credit Union, at the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio. The festival is running from April 19 – 22 in Santa Clarita, California.


The Quebe Sisters Band is one of the most exciting new groups to come on the music scene in years. Formed in 2000, the Quebe Sisters Band performs a refreshing blend of western swing and traditional Texas fiddle tunes.

The group features the intricate triple fiddles and vocals of Grace, Sophia, & Hulda Quebe, along with the swinging rhythm guitar of Joey McKenzie, and bassist Drew Phelps.

2010 City of Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival Tickets Now On Sale

Tickets for the 2010 Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival officially went on sale today. Festival events are taking place between Thursday April 22 and Sunday April 25.

Events at the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio include the Melody Ranch Movie Night, April 23, and general admission Saturday and Sunday with a host of entertainment.

Festival favorites Don Edwards, Sons of the San Joaquin and the Quebe Sisters are back this along with a top lineup of Cowboy Poets, exhibitions, specialty entertainers and great food.  Many of the special events sell out, so festival goers are encouraged to order tickets early to ensure availability.
