The City of Santa Clarita’s Summer Seasons catalog offers residents summer art, education, sports, recreation, excursions and day camp classes throughout the summer season.
Online registration for summer aquatic classes is now open.
Online registration for all other classes starts tomorrow, May 8, at 8 a.m.
The online registration process is now easier with the City’s new Recreation Management (Rec1) software. Search for classes and activities in a variety of ways; category, location, class name, and more. Be sure to create a new customer account to save valuable time on the first day of registration.

Purchase your tickets now for the 36th Annual Santa Clarita Dodger Day and see the Los Angeles Dodgers battle it out against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, April 27, beginning at 6:10 p.m. at Dodger Stadium.
Discount prices are available to all Santa Clarita Valley residents, including: Preferred Field Box $36, Reserve MVP $23, and all you can eat tickets in the Pavilion $35. Each School and non-profit group that sells over 25 tickets will receive a special rebate.
Dodgers sports bag will be given away to the first 40,000 fans to arrive at the Stadium.

Tickets are available now through noon this Wednesday, April 17, and can be purchased online or at the City’s Aquatics Center, located at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway.

Underwater pumpkin carving is an annual event at the City’s Aquatic Center
Residents are invited to the 5th Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest and Spooky Family Fair on Saturday, October 20, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center, located at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway.
Underwater Pumpkin Carving is a hit at the Aquatic Center
Watch certified SCUBA dive teams create underwater masterpieces in the depths of the Aquatics diving pool at 6:45 p.m. and enjoy crafts, games and trick or treating around the pool. An underwater camera will capture all the action so spectators can watch the dive teams’ progress live on a big screen while participating in various festive activities. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes.

The City of Santa Clarita Aquatic Center will feature a Dive-In Movie presentation of Tangled (rated PG) on Friday, August 10. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the movie beginning at 8:30 p.m. Recreational swim is allowed up to the beginning of the movie. Admission is $7.00 for everyone (children under 3 are free).
Enjoy the film with friends and family while floating in the pool or sitting on the deck at the Aquatic Center. No outside food or drinks are allowed. The Aquatic Café concession stand will be open for snacks and drinks. Residents are allowed to bring their own inter-tubes.

KTLA’s Allie Mac Kay was at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center this morning with L.A. County Fire Department and Santa Clarita lifeguards to show viewers the importance of water safety for this upcoming summer. To view Allie Mac Kay’s water safety coverage at the Aquatic Center, click here.
L.A. County Fire Department, Santa Clarita Lifeguards, and Stewie the Duck gave presentations to viewers about water safety.

Residents are also encouraged to attend a FREE Water Safety Expo tomorrow, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Station #126, located at 26320 Citrus Street.

Host your next children’s party with the City of Santa Clarita with four great and exciting ways to celebrate it.
- Parkmobile – Let the party come to your home or local park. Click here to get more detail on our parkmobile services.
- Activities Center – From November through April you can host a birthday party at the Santa Clarita Activities Center for children ages 5 through 10. Parents can choose from five fun themes like “It’s Carnival Time”, “Be a Sports Star”, “Pirates Treasure”, “Princess Jewels” or ”Rock Star”. For Details call (661)250-3703
- Skate Park – Skate Park parties can be book for select dates from April through October. First day to book a party is Tuesday, March 6, at 8 a.m. at the Aquatic Center.
- Aquatic Center – Aquactic Center party rentails take place on weekends in the spring, summer, and fall. First day to book a party is Tuesday, April 24, at 8 a.m. at the Aquatic Center.
