The City of Santa Clarita is once again presenting Dive-In Movies beginning on Friday, July 11, which allows residents to relax poolside at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center while enjoying their favorite PG-rated films.
For just $7 per person, families can settle in for a Friday night at the cinema under the stars from the comfort of a poolside lounge chair or even the pool itself. All Dive-In Movies start at 7 p.m. with this year’s lineup including Monster’s University on July 11, Despicable Me 2 on July 25, and The Smurfs 2 on August 8.
Registration is highly encouraged to secure a space at the City’s Dive-In Movie events. Poolside seating is available, or guests can bring their own pool amenities, including chairs, inner tubes, noodles or rafts. Attendees must wear a bathing suit to be in the pool, and children two and under must wear water diapers. Lifeguards will be on duty for the duration of the night.
Signature movie snacks will also be available for purchase, including drinks, ice cream, pizza, pretzels, nachos and much more. No outside food or drinks will be allowed.
