Reason to go to the Cowboy Festival #1: The Music and Entertainment

April 23, 2010

An amazing assortment of talent is at the Cowboy Festival

We’ve counted down the reasons to go to the Cowboy Festival. We’ve looked at the shopping, the activities for kids, the food and the location, but the number one reason to go to the Cowboy Festival is the performers!

Click for all performers

Links and bios to performers are on the City page, but the best way to find out more is to go to the Cowboy Festival this weekend and see for yourself.

It’s been a fun week counting down the top reasons to go. If you haven’t gone to the festival before here are a few tips:

- Wear comfortable closed toed shoes. Brand new boots can be painful to break in and flip flops aren’t great with the terrain of the street – it’s dirt.

- Dress for the weather. The festival is mostly outdoors, so bring your hat and put on some sun screen.

- There is an ATM on site and water. There are no firearms allowed, not even collector item pieces.

- You can get your tickets on-site at the festival shuttle site.

- Bring your camera. In past years they have not been allowed, but they’re ok now.

Hope to see you there!
