
Take a stroll down Main Street and experience the Old Town Newhall Farmers Market, kicking off today, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This season’s weekly Farmers Market will be held between Market Street and 8th, and will offer a variety of fresh produce, packaged goods, handmade crafts, family-fun activities and more.

The Farmers Market is newly managed by Coastal Pacific, who is known for their reputation as being one of the best market operators in the state. Coastal Pacific manages markets of the Los Angeles, Riverside, and Ventura counties, as well as Northridge Market which is one of the largest in the country.
After the Farmers Market enjoy an evening observing art showcased in businesses along Main Street at the monthly Art Walk event, taking place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Art Walk features works by local artists, activities, live entertainment, as well as art galleries displaying notable paintings, drawings, and photographs. The Farmers Market and Art Walk are great ways to spend Thursday night with family and friends, while supporting local businesses and vendors.

Check out the list of today’s activities at the Farmers Market in Old Town Newhall:
- Art, Music, and Food will be featured in the Taco Llama parking lot. The lot will feature the pop-art of Pablo Cevallos, pin-up girls by Jessica Rose, and car art by Steve Jasik.
- The band Inferno will play a variety of music. They are the ultimate wedding, party and corporate band. Inferno plays every style of music, so be prepared to hear music that you love!
- Along with the great restaurants on Main Street in Newhall, there will also be two Food Trucks on the Street. Mandoline Grill and N’awlins Food Truck will be parked on Main Street between 4 p.m. and 7 pm for your dining pleasure.
- ARTree will be there giving families a hands-on craft opportunity!
- All are invited to an art reception for Trae Mundt who is the artist featured in OUT WEST for the month of March. Enjoy free appetizers and sweets.
- Lastly, visit the art space between the theatre’s and see all of the art competing in the “Art on Canvas” and the “Through the Lens” contests. Both of these art competitions were designed to promote the arts throughout the community. This year’s theme was “It’s All About You.” The first, second, third, and people’s choice winners will be announced at 7 pm. Please visit the gallery and vote for your People’s choice winner!
