Traffic along Golden Valley Road Bridge at the State Route 14 freeway is still being shifted from the south side of the existing bridge to the north side of the newly constructed side of the bridge. One through lane and left-turning lane will remain open in each direction.
These changes will allow the City and contractors to begin a new phase of work in the Golden Valley Road Bridge widening project. The City has placed changeable message sign (CMS) boards in the area to alert drivers of the coming traffic change and expected traffic delays. Traffic control devices, signage and flaggers will be placed to guide both westbound and eastbound traffic through the two-lane traffic controlled area.
