The City of Santa Clarita will host a reception for a new art installment, A Foot in the Door: Abstract Art and Meaning, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, at the First Floor Gallery in Santa Clarita City Hall.
A Foot in the Door: Abstract Art and Meaning presents works of abstract art, as well as context about each piece for the viewer. Art enthusiasts can read an explanation of the inspiration behind each piece and the message the artist is trying to convey.
The exhibit will be on display from Friday, January 15, through Saturday, April 9, in the First Floor Gallery.
The free public reception for the exhibit will allow guests to meet the artists and enjoy light appetizers and entertainment while exploring the exhibit.
