In celebration of the Old Town Newhall Library Grand Opening, the Santa Clarita Public Library is holding an Art and Poetry contest with the theme ‘On The Wings of Books’ for students K-12 grades. Contestants are invited to create a picture (grades K – 3) or a poem (grades 4-12) and show how you have soared and taken flight with books.Submission guidelines and rules can be found in the contest forms:
Art Contest for Grades K – 3rd
Poetry Contest for Grades 4 – 12
The deadline to submit your entry is Monday, September 10.
