H1N1 Flu Shot At Activities Center

Organizers of the flu clinic were prepared for high volumes of people and while there has been a steady flow of traffic, there's still plenty of shots available

*** The flu clinic is now over.  The crowds for the H1N1 vaccine were lighter than expected so far today. While there was a wait early in the morning, when the clinic opened, the mid-morning wait was only about 10-20 minutes. Organizers are expecting a higher volume of people during lunch and when school lets out, but are trying to spread the word that flu shots are available.

The free  H1N1 vaccination clinic  is taking place at the City of Santa Clarita’s Activities Center. The flu shot clinic will be open all day until 4 p.m.

Vaccinations are free and will be available first to: pregnant woman, those living with infants under 6 months old, health care workers, emergency medical personnel, children and young adults ages 6 months through 24 years old and those ages 25 through 64 years old with chronic medical conditions.

Minors must be accompanied by adult.
