Disney/ABC Studios have announce plans for “Disney/ABC Studios at The Ranch,” a new project that is intended to bring a dozen soundstages and new production facilities to Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch in the Santa Clarita Valley. The project is anticipated to create thousands of new jobs and help energize business throughout Los Angeles County and the Santa Clarita Valley.
The project is expected to generate $522 million in direct economic activity throughout LA County during construction and $533 in annual economic activity throughout LA County at full build out. Santa Clarita has been one of Los Angeles County’s most filmed communities for decades, with thousands of shows filming on location and basing at movie ranches like Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch.
