The recently updated upper Child Play Area at Canyon Country Park was completed and is open for play! The re-designed Child Play Area relied on design input from on-site staff, who knew the near-by community and their needs. They also drove the “natural” design ideas from the river like rubberized surfacing, to the tree house style play tower, and of course the rock and log play features scattered throughout. The new play structures replaced 20 plus year old equipment that was part of the original installation when the park was constructed. The old equipment was donated to Kids Around the World, a charity that will re-use the equipment in less fortunate countries.
