The City of Santa Clarita invites parents and children ages one to three to participate in The Family Room, happening every Friday from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at The Centre.
The Family Room is a learning-centered playroom at The Centre for parents and their children to participate in age-appropriate activities and socialization. The Family Room offers parents quality time with their children and encourages social development, and also allows parents to share experience with other moms and dads.
Children can enjoy crafts, music, play equipment and activities geared towards improving sensory and motor skills during Family Room. The cost of each class is $5. Pre-registration is not required, but space is limited.
The Family Room is facilitated by City staff; however, the program is designed for parent and child interaction and exploration, so parents must be present for the duration of the program.
