California Highway Patrol (CHP) has closed Vasquez Canyon Road between Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus and Sierra Highway in Canyon Country today around noon due to a small landslide.
Motorists are encouraged to take Sierra Highway as an alternate route. The road is closed for an undetermined duration.
The City has placed changeable message signs (CMS boards) in the area to alert drivers of the closure.
