The City and the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station are encouraging residents to bring unwanted documents and electronic waste (E-waste) to the free Safe and Secure Shred event happening on Saturday, November 7, from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
Shredding of documents will take place on site and limited to five boxes or bags (no larger than 11″ x 12″ x 15″) per vehicle. E-waste items eligible for disposal at the event include computers, monitors, televisions, computer CPUs, keyboards, printers, cell phones, VCRs, fax machines and stereos.
