Drawing on input from the community, the Arts and Entertainment Survey and the AMPED Summit breakout sessions, the Cultural Planning Group will present a draft of the plan. The Arts Master Plan will serve as a road map for arts and cultural development in the City of Santa Clarita over the next ten years. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for feedback and input from residents.
The Arts Master Plan addresses several specific areas, including public art, arts funding, the Newhall Arts District, arts facilities and Santa Clarita’s creative economy. The goal of the presentation is to collect any additional thoughts and ideas from members of the public for the improvement of the arts in Santa Clarita.
If you are planning to attend the meeting, RSVP to Jenni Shadle at JShadle@Santa-Clarita.com by January 18.
