Revved Up on Thursday, September 10 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., will feature a Low Rider Car Show, bluegrass tunes from Bullfish, food trucks and beer garden. Local residents interested in submitting an automobile for consideration in Revved Up can apply online.
Residents can Cha Cha their way to the Tropicana Club on Main Street for a Hot Havana Nights block party with SENSES on Thursday, September 17, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Participants can enjoy an evening of Cuban cuisine and live music from Susie Hansen Latin Band.
The September Thursdays@Newhall events finish on Thursday, September 24 with the ARTree Speaker Series, presented in partnership with the CalArts Community Arts Partnership and the City of Santa Clarita, and SCVTV Presents The OutWest Concert Series.
From 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. the ARTree Speaker Series will host award-winning artists and animators Will Kim and Jian Lee. The experimental filmmakers will screen some of their short films and discuss digital media, animation and how to teach the next generation of artists.
Meanwhile, SCVTV presents the OutWest Concert Series with acoustic folk band Tracy Newman and the Reinforcements beginning at 8 p.m. at the Repertory East Playhouse located at 24266 Main Street. Tickets can be purchased here.
