In late January, City staff, along with 28 volunteers, gathered to help beautify sidewalk landscaping on Alaminos Drive in Saugus.
Their work consisted of removing trash, weeds, and old soil along with spreading over 25 cubic yards of decorative mulch along the 800 foot parkway.
When the work was completed, 15 trash bags were filled. The service project was a great success and local residents approached City staff to express their appreciation for a job well done.
