During the local high school winter break, 67 teens participated in Teen Trailblazer Week held by the City’s Outreach and Neighborhood Services program.
Local junior high and high school teens hiked over 17 miles of Santa Clarita open space trails which included Towsley Canyon, Elsmere Canyon, Wildwood Canyon and Los Piñetos.
The teen hikers also participated in Geocaching–a worldwide, outdoor scavenger hunt that utilizes a computer GPS application.
