On Thursday, December 18, nineteen teens completed the Youth Employment Services job-training program. Five teens received “Perfect Attendance” and eight teens received the “Above and Beyond” award for exceeding expectations at their work place.
At their final meeting of the session, teens received college, financial aid, and scholarship information from volunteer Yesenia Hurtado and left with a packet of information on employment opportunities. The next YES program session will begin on March 8.
