The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center will host a recruitment event on Wednesday, July 9, for several part-time caregiver and administrative positions available with Angel Wings Agency. The recruitment will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center, located at the College of the Canyons’ University Center in Suite 250.
Angel Wings Agency is seeking to fill several part-time positions for Direct Support Staff-Caregivers ($10/hour) and Administrative Assistants ($12/hour) to assist adults with developmental disabilities with daily activities such as volunteering, employment shadowing and recreational outings, as well as personal hygiene.
Applicants should have one year or more experience as a caregiver or in an administrative assistant role, and must be willing and able to assist with lifting clients (in and out of wheelchairs, etc). Candidates for employment must:
- Provide two professional references
- Provide a current copy of a clean DMV record printout
- Possess a negative TB test, or clean x-ray, taken with the last 12 months
- Speak, read and write English proficiently
- Provide a social security card and a State ID, driver’s license or passport
- Pass a background check
