The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is hosting a recruitment event on Thursday, January 30, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to seek qualified candidates to fill part-time employment positions at Right At Home, an in-home care and assistance company for seniors and disabled adults.
The Right at Home recruitment will include available part-time jobs assisting seniors who are living independently. Such positions are often ideal for retirees, mature adults and homemakers. Job seekers must have a dependable form of transportation and experience with light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and companionship. Interested applicants should bring a copy of their resume as well as a State issued ID such as Driver’s License and Social Security Card or Passport.
In addition to this recruitment event, the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center will host a FREE Transportation Planning Workshop on Tuesday, January 28, at 11 a.m. This workshop will provide future commuters with helpful tips about how to use public transportation to get to and from work. Topics will include how to find a bus route, read bus schedules, find discounts, and gain first-hand experience and assistance from a transportation professional.
