Run through a Color Storm February 15 at the ‘Santa Colorita Run’

The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the first ever Santa Colorita 5k Fun Run, also known as the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”, on Saturday, February 15, at the Castaic Lake Recreational Area.

The Santa Colorita 5k Fun Run will be a five-kilometer race in which runners will be doused with non-toxic colored corn starch at each kilometer marker.

At the finish line, a gigantic amount of colored powder will be released onto the runners.  Runners and other participants will enjoy live music and some of the Valley’s finest BBQ.
