On Saturday, July 21, Urban Forestry staff and a dozen local volunteers planted 46 new California Sycamore trees along Railroad Avenue.

These new trees, located on the east side of Railroad Ave. beginning at 13th Street and heading north past 15th, were funded through the City’s Air Quality Management District (AQMD) Tree Planting Grant and are a continuation of the City’s efforts to enhance the Railroad corridor.

A big thanks to ‘Helping Hand’ volunteers for working to beautify the community in 100 degree weather.
