On Thursday, July 12, J.A.M. Sessions brought the culture of the Pacific Islands to Old Town Newhall during the Farmers Market.
Tui Letuli and members of the Pacific Talent Academy performed stories throught the gestures of Hawaiian hula, created beats with Tahitian drums and taught the art of the Samoan Fire Knife Dance with practice sticks.
J.A.M. Sessions is an eight week music and dance session held every Thursday, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., through August 23 in Old Town Newhall.
