Santa Clarita Public Library Invites ‘Movie Fans’ to Join Film Discussions at the Valencia Library

The Santa Clarita Public Library is inviting film fanatics for monthly FREE screenings of America’s favorite movies at the Santa Clarita Valencia Library. During these meetings there will be discussions about each film, and free snacks and beverages. These screenings will take place every 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Valencia Library Meeting Room.

  •  June 16: Moneyball (PG-13) book by Michael Lewis
  • July 21: East of Eden (NR 118 min) book by John Steinbeck
  • August 18: Hugo (PG 126 min) book The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick
  • September 15: I am Number Four (PG 109 min) book I am Number Four by Pittacus Lore
  • October 20: Ides of March (R 101 min) based on play Farragut North by Beau Willimon
  • November 17: Real Steel (PG-13 127 min) based on play Steel: And Other Stories by Richard Matheson
  • December 15: A Charlie Brown Christmas (NR 25 min) based on Peanuts by Charles Schulz
