MAY 9, 2012 (FINAL UPDATE)
From L.A. County Fire Dept:
100% containment was reached at 11 pm Tuesday, May 8.
MAY 8, 2012—8:15 P.M. (UPDATE)
From Metrolink:
- All trains are making their way to Lancaster with no restrictions.
- There are still passengers traveling into Los Angeles Union Station via bus.
- There should be no issues for tomorrow’s Metrolink service from today’s disruption.
There will be no further updates from Metrolink this evening.
MAY 8, 2012— 8 P.M. (UPDATE)
From L.A. County Fire Dept:
- Acres Burned – 126
- Containment – 40%
- Personnel responding: 385 ( Los Angeles County Fire, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Angeles National Forest).
Structures Burned or Damaged:
- 1 – Mobile Home
- 1 – Outbuilding
- 2 – Vehicles (1) truck, (1) sedan
- 2 – Semi trailers
Evacuation Center: No evacuees on site at this time
