The concert series features top Jazz and Blues recording artists and brings a variety of interactive programming for the entire family. Food and beverages are also available for purchase, including wine and beer for the adults. No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed. Admission is free.
Chesebrough Park was recently added to the City of Santa Clarita’s family of parks.
Chesebrough Park has many features for families including a multipurpose facility with picnic areas and a shelter, a playground, softball field and green spaces.
This Saturday, July 30, the City of Santa Clarita’s Concert in the Park series, presented by First Entertainment Credit Union, will feature a performance by Ken O’ Malley and the Twilight Lords. All City Concerts in the Park begin at 7 p.m. and residents are advised to arrive early to get a good spot. Admission is free to the public.

The City of Santa Clarita hosted its first annual Water Safety Day at the Aquatics Center where parents and children learned the importance of staying safe in and around the water.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department’s water safety mascot “Stewie the Duck” provided a fun and interactive environment for children, stressing the importance of learning to swim.
There was also a raffle at the event where the City gave away free life jackets, swim lesson certificates, coloring books, and sunscreen.
