On Thursday, April 14, the City of Santa Clarita, in partnership with the City of Palmdale, the SCV Chamber of Commerce and the SCV Economic Development Corporation, will present a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) workshop to help businesses that import/export learn how to utilize federal incentives.
This workshop will identify: businesses well-suited to utilize the FTZ, how to apply for FTZ status and ways to defer, reduce or eliminate U.S. Customs duties, fees and certain taxes.
The Foreign Trade Zone is a powerful tool in maximizing international competition for businesses in the City of Santa Clarita and the Santa Clarita Valley. David Harlow of ITC-Diligence Inc. will present about this lucrative resource that can help your business.
