Disaster Plan Training Set for Septmber 21

Disaster Plan Training will be held at the City's Activities Center September 21.

The City of Santa Clarita and the Emergency Network of Los Angeles are conducting a free half-day disaster plan training for faith based and non-profit organizations. The training will be held on Tuesday, September 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the City of Santa Clarita Activities Center

 The training will assist organizations in developing or enhancing their disaster plans and emergency continuity of operations. Space is limited to 50 attendees. The deadline to register is Monday, September 13.

Mayor Laurene Weste, along with City Councilmember Laurie Ender and Mayor Pro Tem Marsha McLean were among the digitaries celebrating Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital’s 35 years of service to Santa Clarita. Roger Seaver, President and CEO of the hospital, accepted a certificate from the City Council last Thursday.
