A free dental clinic for local low income children will be held on Saturday, January 30, in Valencia, Saturday, February 5, 2010 and Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Foundation for Children’s Dental Health, charter member-dentists of the “Smile Coalition” have come together to serve needy children in the community.
At no cost to the family, Dr. Amy Monti of Adventure Dental at 18580 Via Princessa, Suite 3 in Canyon Country and Dr. Chris Go at 27560 Newhall Ranch Rd. Suite 309 in Valencia and Drs. Kathleen Siu, Carla Abboud and Dean Schweitzer at 23838 Valencia Blvd. Suite 300 in Valencia will be treating approximately 50 children who have been pre-identified through the Foundation’s dental screenings and who have no dental care access or resources. All the children are students at public elementary schools throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.
