The City of Santa Clarita, the L.A. Department of Public Health and College of the Canyons along with the L.A. County Sheriff and Fire Departments, partnered to hold a drive-thru flu shot clinic on October 30.
The clinic began at 10 a.m. and ran until 12:30 p.m. and by the time it was over 1,562 seasonal flu shots were given out to community members. The amount of people at this years flu clinic rose 40% from last year.
Once community members were screened and paperwork was filled out, the shots were given.
