Community members gathered Tuesday to celebrate the completion of the I-5/Magic Mountain Parkway Expansion Project
The Santa Clarita City Council hosted the Grand Opening event for the Magic Mountain/I-5 Expansion Project on Tuesday, September 8. Representatives from contributing project partners MTA, Los Angeles County, Caltrans and Newhall were on hand to celebrate the completion of the multi-million dollar construction project, designed to ease traffic congestion at one of the areas most frequently used highway arteries.

During the ceremony Mayor Ferry spoke of the various partnerships that made the project possible. The Magic Mountain/ I-5 Expansion Project updated and improved one of Santa Clarita’s busiest entryways into the City.
