The Old Town Newhall Streetscape project is moving along with great progress. Much of the work, which includes landscaping, hard-scaping, brickwork and boardwalks has been completed, although there is still much more to go. The Streetscape is anticipated to be completed in September. The pictures in this post were all taken this week.
Earlier this week concrete was being poured for the corner boardwalk.
The brickwork is really the signature of the Old Town Newhall improvements.
Among the design elements that are included in the Streetscape are hitching posts.

Hundreds of plants are being added to the landscaping areas this week and include a variety of drought tolerant vegetation.
