Beginning this Saturday, July 25, the City of Santa Clarita will host Junior Skate every Saturday from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the Santa Clarita Skate Park. Junior Skate is open exclusively to skaters 12 years of age and under and all attendees must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The City created Junior Skate time to allow younger and less experienced skaters the opportunity to enjoy the City’s Skate Park with their peers and individuals of similar skill levels. For more information on Junior Skate at the City’s Skate Park, contact Toi Chisom, Recreation Superintendent for the City of Santa Clarita, at (661) 250-3769.
All Junior Skate attendees must be in full compliance with Skate Park rules and safety regulations, which require all riders to wear a helmet, elbow, and knee pads, and will not be permitted without a parent or guardian.
