Santa Clarita residents will surely look to beat the heat this summer at the Aquatic Center

The City of Santa Clarita’s Aquatic Center celebrated the beginning of the summer season on Memorial Day with recreational swim from 1-4 p.m. More than 260 community kids and adults stopped by the City’s Sports Complex to take a dip in the beautiful pools at the Aquatic Center.

Guests who splashed at the Center on Memorial Day enjoyed fun in the sun with other local kids, teens and adults. Recreational swimming will also be offered at the Aquatic Center on Saturday, May 30 and Saturday, June 6 from 1 p.m. – 5p.m.

Auto-dealers attended a special workshop yesterday at City Hall to learn how to protect thier businesses from crime. The workshop was part of a regular series of educational forums put on by the City of Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Business Alliance aimed at helping businesses with  theft prevention.
