On “Mayor Dude” Frank Ferry’s next public chat session he is asking the question, “If you were Mayor for a day, what would you do?”
To participate, local youth can log on to Mayordude.com, provide their name, age and school, and submit their one big suggestion on what they would do if given the chance to serve as Mayor for a day. Applicants must be enrolled in any school in the Santa Clarita Valley, including elementary, junior high, high school and college in order to be eligible for the contest. Local youth enrolled in home school programs are also eligible to participate. Responses must be kept to 500 characters or less- and participants are encouraged to read the rules about posting before submitting their suggestions, no later than April 30, 2009 at www.mayordude.com.
